PROJECTS OF IRIS ARTS
Iris Arts has practiced the give-away since the mid 1990's with socially relevant projects. Below are categories for some of the digital media projects Iris Arts has created for non-profit organizations: websites, movies, book designs, logos, brochures, posters, and general branding tasks for many of our projects.
Our current focus is designing digital media products for projects that contribute to strengthening the social fabric;
and to act as fiscal support for a few select projects.
This is a photo of Soon Duk Kim, a former Korean Comofrt Woman demonstrating in front of the Japanese embassy in San Francisco during the time the paintings of these women were showing at the SF Arts Comission Gallery in 2004. Iris brought these paintings to the United States where they visited 6 major cities.
The Global Peace Force asked Iris to develop an image for their peace bond in 2010. Iris developed this image using portions of painting by Guadalupe Urbina from Costa Rica with the intention of focusing on important non violent issues in Central and South America that need to be addressed.
